Yao Ming Struggles To Barely Fit Inside A Car (Video)
By Ed Carroll
Yao Ming, standing at more than seven feet tall, is a very large man, and even though he’s a former NBA star for the Houston Rockets, it’s sometimes hard for him to get a lift in a comfortable vehicle.
So, even though tall players in the NBA isn’t a new thing, and seeing tall human beings deal with obstacles that short people don’t have to even consider is humorous, particularly if you’re not tall. Yao Ming is really tall (he is seven feet, six inches tall, to be exact), even for NBA standards, and was a dominant player in the league for many years before injuries forced him to retire. Yao was dominated by a beast of a different nature than other NBA centers recently — a car he couldn’t fit into:

I suppose it should be noted that this isn’t exactly a smartcar they’re trying to jam Yao into; it’s a four-door Lincoln Navigator, and he barely fits in the back seat (the front seat is right out).
This is probably something Yao and many other NBA players (not to mention tall people in all walks of life) are used to having happen. But it’s still not hilarious to see him try to avoid the reporter, only to be unable to fit in the car.
