What do you do as a coach that just beat the only team in your division that isn’t NCAA bowl eligible yet? You throw your headset in elation far into the air. Of course you do.
Mind you this wasn’t a victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes or the Florida State Seminoles. Nope. This was a win over Michigan, the only Big Ten team to not yet become bowl eligible in the Big Ten East division. After the 23-16 victory you’d think Edsall just won the Big Ten conference. Maybe it felt like that to him?
Maybe being the first season in the Big Ten, it felt like a championship? Maryland is now 5-5 in their first year in the Big Ten. He’s going to learn quickly hopefully that their is bigger fish to fry when it comes to the Big Ten Conference.
The celebration didn’t carry over to well with some, especially Michigan fans.
Not everyone was upset though. Some people liked what he did.
