Swedish Goalies Leapfrog Into Goal To Celebrate Win (video)
Goalies from the Swedish Hockey League play leapfrog from center ice straight into the net
Goalies are extremely weird people, man.
After a recent win, Julius Hudacek and Henrik Lundberg, both of Örebro HK of the Swedish Hockey League, decided to get the crowd pumped up to celebrate the victory.

They start off innocently enough, skating around and giving the universal ‘raise the roof’ gesture to get everyone cheering wildly.
Then, Hudacek decides it’s time for a game of leapfrog.
It’s horrendously obvious that Lundberg has no idea what leapfrog even is, and half the fun of the video is watching him slide around a bit trying to figure out what he’s even supposed to be doing. Then, it gets hilarious because… well, it’s two professional hockey goaltenders leapfrogging over one another across the ice.
They finish off with Lundberg sliding into the net, where he’s briefly joined by Hudacek before they get up, cheer some more, and presumably head to the locker room. I can’t begin to imagine what they’re saying to justify that to the rest of their team.
Honestly, though, this is pretty cool. I’m not entirely sure how intoxicated you’d have to get me in order to leapfrog over one of my beer league teammates (or let them leapfrog over me) with blades on our feet and no head protection, but they make this look shockingly easy.
I don’t really follow the SHL, but I now have a strange desire to see Örebro HK win more games.
