The night game for Thanksgiving this year is underway as the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers are doing battle, furthering their rivalry, and Richard Sherman is making his presence felt early in this one.
Late in the first quarter with the game scoreless, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick dropped back to pass near his own 20, and needless to say, it was maybe a ball that he should not have thrown. When that happens, especially against a defense like the Seahawks, chances are someone is going to pick it off.
That did happen, and of course, it was none other than Richard Sherman who was able to get the turnover for his defense.
Now of course we all remember the infamous tirade Sherman went on earlier this year after the NFC Championship win, so it was only fitting that he would get the early interception in this particular game.
Should the Seahawks walk out with the win in this one, you can make a pretty safe bet that we’ll hear about this play in the press conference.
