Every year, stores across the country roll out ridiculous sales on Black Friday. It brings a mob of customers who will literally fight and trample one another to get the best deals they can on the goods they want.
Which is why I like to stay at home and avoid the madness and see what sales are online and available from the safety and comfort of my couch. It looks like Best Buy’s website is getting a little bit of the in-store Black Friday experience, crashing on the biggest sale day of the year.
It is extremely disappointing for customers across the country looking to do the same, and is probably from a plethora of people trying to access the site at once. I guess that is both good and bad news for Best Buy, good that they have that many customers flocking to their store, but bad that customers are getting turned away.
Still, I’d take a crashed site over getting trampled for a 32″ off-brand flatscreen TV any day. Hopefully Best Buy resolves it soon so everyone can get back to shopping.
