Bruce Irvin Trolls 49ers After Seattle Seahawks Win
By Phil Watson
The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers have one of the hottest rivalries going in the NFL and it was in that spirit that Bruce Irvin of the Seahawks had a little fun on social media.
The Seattle Seahawks won on the road against the San Francisco 49ers on Thanksgiving night, taking a 19-3 win at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
Afterward, Seahawks defensive end Bruce Irvin decided to rub it in just a tad.
It was Seattle’s first road win at San Francisco since 2008, improving the Seahawks to 7-8 all-time against the 49ers as a road team.
They had only played twice in San Francisco prior to 2002, when the Seahawks were moved from the AFC West to the NFC West as part of the realignment scheme necessitated by the Houston Texans joining the league as an expansion team.

As you might expect, some 49er fans took exception to the blatant trolling of the Harbaugh family coaching mantra (by the way, did you know 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh has a brother who coaches in the NFL, because the TV people never remind us of that enough when one of them has a game).
Some of the responses were even sort of civil. Others, not so much.
Yes, the 21st century is a wonderful age, where ordinary fans can say things to a 6-foot-3, 245-pound professional football player that if uttered live and in person could result in major bodily harm.
And perhaps the removal of a spleen by uncomfortable means.
