Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman once again let the San Francisco 49ers have it after Seattle’s 19-3 victory.
Say what you want about Richard Sherman, but if you keep giving him ammunition, he’s going to keep firing away. His most recent shots aimed at rival San Francisco 49ers came as a result of the Seattle Seahawks’ smothering 19-3 victory at Levi Stadium. Sherman let the 49ers’ players and fans have it as he celebrated his two-interception performance and another team win with a roasted turkey after the game.

“Somebody threw a glass bottle at the end,” Sherman said, per ESPN. “Every time we came through the tunnel, there were a lot of vulgar things being said. Sometimes you should let sleeping dogs lie. It makes you appreciate your own fans and how they stay for the whole game regardless of the outcome.”
Many fans left the game when it was 16-0 Seattle and Sherman made sure they knew he was watching. “Yeah, I waved to them goodbye,” he said.
When asked about Colin Kaepernick, who promised to throw to the open man regardless of which defensive back stood where, Sherman said, “He didn’t care who was out there [in coverage]. I was the open man.”
Sherman even managed to subtly take a dig at longtime rival Michael Crabtree through the powers of omission. “I have respect for their receivers,” he said. “Stevie [Johnson] is very talented. Anquan [Boldin] has been a terror in this league for a while. Brandon Lloyd as well. Obviously, you guys know I’m minus one.”
The 49ers will have a chance to make Sherman regret those words when the teams play their rematch in Seattle during Week 15 action.
