The Duke Blue Devils came away with a big win over second-ranked Wisconsin on Wednesday night to remain undefeated on the season.

Wednesday night inside the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin, someone was walking out 8-0 on the season and someone was walking out 7-1 as the No. 2 ranked Wisconsin Badgers welcomed in the No. 4 ranked Duke Blue Devils. After 40 minutes of incredible college basketball action, it’s the Badgers that are now saddled with that 7-1 record, while Duke moves to 8-0 after a

Once again in the early season, the freshmen were phenomenal for Duke in leading the team to another win on the year. Now while Jahlil Okafor, who finished with 13 points and six rebounds, did have another good outing in this one, it was actually guard Tyus Jones who turned in the best performance.

Jones finished the big win having dropped in 22 points and grabbing six rebounds with four assists. He came up big virtually every time the Blue Devils needed him to, and it’s going to be just as much fun watching him progress this season as much as it will be Okafor.

Duke was in control for most of this contest, taking a three-point lead into the half at 35-32. In the first half, as a team, Duke had maybe their best shooting performance of the season for the first 20 minutes, shooting an astonishing 60% from the field.

That didn’t let up in the second half, either. When it was all said and done, Duke finished shooting over 64% as a team.

Wisconsin made valiant efforts in the second half to make the comeback, but Duke had an answer every single time.

You know, like Justise Winslow putting a dagger into the Badgers down the stretch here.

This was maybe the most complete effort that Duke has put in so far this year, and it also would not be a shock to see these two meet one another again in March.

In the losing effort, Traevon Jackson lead the way for Wisconsin with 25 points, while Frank Kaminsky finished with 17.
