Al Pacino In A Marvel Film? Don’t Bet On It
By Phil Watson
Al Pacino was a big fan of this summer’s blockbuster, Guardians of the Galaxy, but that doesn’t mean we’ll necessarily see him in a Marvel Studios film.
Al Pacino made some waves this fall when he gushed about how much he enjoyed Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy after seeing it with his kids.
During an appearance on Josh Horowitz’s “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, Pacino said he’s taken a meeting with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
Pacino admitted he was surprised at the buzz his appreciation of Guardians got.
"“Why wouldn’t I like a movie like that?” Pacino asked. “Why wouldn’t I appreciate a movie like that? I’m not necessarily going to be in it, but at the same time, there’s value to it and you can see it.”"
Pacino has met with the Marvel folks, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he will be in an upcoming release.
"“It’s a Marvel how these things happen,” Pacino joked. “I would imagine either there’s something he feels is right for me, or … “"
At that point, Pacino’s phone rang, interrupting the thought.
