Almost every single NFL All-Time quarterback list is going to have Joe Montana sitting at number one. There aren’t a ton of things that NFL fans and analysts agree on, but most won’t argue with this selection. Montana is one of the most successful and dominant players at any position to ever play the game.

He finished his career being selected to eight Pro Bowls and was a three-time first team All-Pro. Montana was inducted into the 2000, which finalized the last part of his legacy that was left to be finalized. During his career, he won the 1981 Super Bowl MVP, 1984 Super Bowl MVP, 1986 Comeback Player of the Year, 1989 NFL MVP, 1989 Super Bowl MVP, and 1990 NFL MVP. Those awards prove exactly why he should be in this spot.

Montana finished his career with a 133-54 record, while also recording a 16-7 postseason record including four Super Bowl wins in four attempts. His best season came in 1984 when he threw for 3,630 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.
