The Cleveland Browns made a change coming into their clash with in-state rivals the Cincinnati Bengals by starting rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel. The game hasn’t exactly gone the way the Browns hoped, trailing 20-0 early in the second quarter.
Manziel isn’t necessarily playing particularly well either, of course that could be first game jitters. Manziel tried to force a pass towards the side line and ended up throwing an interception instead.
Fortunately Dre Kirkpatrick’s momentum carried him out of bounds shortly after making the pic so it wasn’t worse than it could’ve been. But still, a turn over is a turn over and it ends a drive and puts the Browns defense out on the field.
It is Manziel’s first NFL game, so we’ll give him a pass, but it isn’t going well so far.
