Florida Panthers Players Dress Up In Christmas Outifts For Hospital Visit
A few players from the Florida Panthers dressed up in Christmas outfits while visiting kids at a local hospital.
On a recent visit to the Chris Everett Children’s Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, several players from the Florida Panthers wanted to spread some Christmas cheer to the kids. The players showed up to the hospital in different Christmas outfits, including Erik Gudbranson as Santa and Nick Bjugstad as Mrs. Claus.
I can’t think of another scenario where Nick Bjugstad wearing a dress isn’t weird. Actually, never mind. It’s still pretty weird. Especially since he decided to wear flip-flops with the dress. Come on Nick, at least wear flats.

The Panthers players visited the hospital to help the kids get into the holiday spirit and get them out of their daily routine. They went around and handed out gifts to the kids. Getting these kids out of their daily routine, even for just one day, really does wonders for them. It doesn’t hurt that they get to see a few professional athletes dress up in ridiculous outfits for them.
Turns out Nick Bjugstad even volunteered to be Mrs. Claus. Good on you, Nick. Not many guys are comfortable enough to do that. Although, the fact that I don’t think he can grow facial hair helps him when he’s trying to look like a woman.
It’s awesome to see when players and organizations do this though. These guys take time out of their day to not only go and visit, but to really get into it and dress up just to put a smile on these kids faces for a day.
Well done fellas.
