The Dallas Mavericks were the front runners according to reports earlier on Thursday, now it looks like a deal could be completed by the end of the day according to ESPN’s Marc Stein.

As for the other teams who were trying to nab Rondo, they’ve been told to get lost.

If you’re wondering what the details on the trade our, the Mavericks will send Brandan Wright, Jae Crowder, Jameer Nelson, one future first-round and one future second-round draft pick to the Celtics.

This coincides with a report from Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski, confirming and elaborating on some of the details. Wojnarowski reported that the Mavericks were including Wright, Crowder and a 2015 first-round pick, stating more players and picks could be added.
