The Jets and Chris Ivory keep scoring in AFC East shootout against Miami
After Chris Owusu raced to the end zone on a reverse earlier for the New York Jets’ first touchdown of the day, Chris Ivory split out right and found himself the recipient of a Geno Smith touchdown pass to put the Jets temporarily up on the Dolphins on Sunday in the second quarter.
After Chris Ivory’s touchdown the game became out of control, with Miami Regaining the lead to go ahead 17 – 14 at the half. Coming out of the half, the speedy Owusu took the kickoff 87 yards down the field and it looked like the Jets were about to take the lead again.

Well they ended up turning the ball over to Miami, and naturally after the turnover, Lamar Miller scored on a 97-yard touchdown run, the longest touchdown run of the season in the NFL.
Geno Smith would find Eric Decker to pull within three at 24 – 21 as the game is currently in the third quarter at Sun Life Stadium.
This game has been nothing short of wild thus far and both teams want to end the season with a big victory going forward. Whether it’s for the Jets sending Rex Ryan out a winner or the Dolphins looking to end the year with a winning record.
