The New England Patriots finished another season as the AFC East champions and are looking to make another deep post season run as they contend for a Super Bowl. In the mean time, with the NFL regular season officially over we know what the Patriots road to the playoffs in 2015 will look like.
The Patriots will play six games against the other three teams in their division, one home and away for each. Then the AFC East is paired up with the NFC East and the AFC South, playing each team in those divisions once. That brings them to 14 games, the last two are against the two other teams that won their divisions in the AFC, which are the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Denver Broncos.
All in all it isn’t a tough schedule, but their road schedule is far stiffer than their home. They travel to take on the Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos, all play off teams that won their divisions in 2014.
