Simply put, you had better watch your step if you’re going into the lane on the Raptors’ James Johnson.

Well, now we know not to test James Johnson.

On Thursday night the Charlotte Hornets are taking on the Toronto Raptors and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist learned this lesson the hard way, that’s for sure.

Early in the second quarter of the contest, MKG thought that he had a pretty open shot at the basket off a drive, He seemed pretty confident about being able to hit the layup rather simply.

Yeah, well for his efforts, James Johnson simply blocked said shot attempt into the stands.

Yeah, once again, he’s probably not going to test Johnson again, not after getting humiliated like that.

What might have been even better than Johnson sending the shot into the seats was Kidd-Gilchrist ending up there as well. He didn’t look as if he was stopping, maybe even just running out of the building.
