Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Emmanuel Acho has been out of high school for six years but he’s going to the prom after working out a deal with a fan on social media.

Emmanuel Acho opened up Instagram to see a direct message from a fan who asked him if he would go to her high school prom if she could get 2,000 retweets on Twitter.

The former sixth round pick in the 2012 draft made a counteroffer to Hannah Delmonte and said he would take her only if she could get 10,000 retweets within one week.

Acho probably thought the 10,000 retweet bar would have been too high for Hannah to hit, but he was wrong as she only needed a few hours to eclipse that mark.

Acho held true to his word and tweeted his thoughts on the “impressive” accomplishment, but he needs a refresher course on where to buy a corsage.

I wonder what the two will do before the dance.

Does Acho show up to her parent’s house in his finest car and shake hands with her mom and day? Is he going to take a million pictures with Hannah? Will there be group photos? There has to be a shot with the corsage going on, right?

I mean these are prom traditions and Acho has an obligation. No. he has a responsibility to give her the best prom ever that was arranged through a bet on Instagram.

Okay, in all seriousness this is pretty awesome of Acho to follow through with this and give an admirer/fan a memory that will last a lifetime.
