Robert Griffin III is putting his cast from his dislocated ankle up for auction. Why do people want to own this? 

For all the collectors out there, Robert Griffin III has the ultimate prize for you. RG3 is putting his cast that he had on his ankle after dislocating it in Week 2 up for auction. What else will he put up for auction? How many more casts can he put up for auction in the next 5 seasons?

This might not be that big of a collector’s item if he is going to put up for auction a dozen of these casts from every injury that he has. Will he sell the sling for his shoulder troubles? Will he sell his knee brace from his ACL injury?

At least the money is going to go to charity. Alfred Morris, DeAngelo Hall, Desean Jackson, Pierre Garcon and a few others have autographed the cast and the current bid is at $650.

If you want to get some of that foot fungus that RG3 had growing up in that cast, then get your bidding on and get in on this cast. You can display in your living room for all of your friends to see.
