Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook made an impressive drive against the Warriors

Russell Westbrook’s incredible explosiveness and athleticism can’t be denied. Friday night against the Warriors on ESPN, Westbrook had another incredible play on a national stage.

In the third quarter against the Warriors, Westbrook split between Stephen Curry and David Lee on his way to a thunderous one-handed slam.

No pun intended.

All Golden State could do was watch in awe as the Thunder  point guard threw one down in dramatic fashion.

After such an impressive slam, Westbrook would high step it in celebration back up the court, soaking in the affection of his teammates and fans alike.

This is the fourth and final meeting between the two teams this year and Golden State has taken the first three games. If the Thunder want to pass Phoenix for the final playoff spot, they are going to have start winning games against playoff teams.

Perhaps a big game against the Warriors with some big plays like that of Westbrook in the third quarter can spark an Oklahoma City run to the playoffs where they would be easily considered the most dangerous eighth seed in a loaded Western Conference.

The Thunder are firing on all cylinders tonight and lead Golden State in the fourth.
