The Warriors’ forward was almost speechless in his interview after the game

Klay Thompson had the greatest quarter in NBA history as he scored 37 points on 13-13 shooting and 9-9 from beyond the arc. His insane performance left everyone in awe and it was one of the greatest feats in the history of the game.

After the game, all anyone could talk about was Thompson. His teammate Draymond Green was still in shock throughout his entire interview.

Green being questioned by reporters about Thompson’s record quarter seemed as if he was still in a daze from what he had just seen, just like everyone who had watched.

Green even noted it was a performance that couldn’t even be done on NBA2k, the popular video game series. Green laughing, even mentioned that it was like “hot potato” and every time he touched the ball he wanted to get it to Klay.

You can see in Green’s reaction, that he had never seen anything like that before and he’s right, because something like that hasn’t happened before. Through Green’s appreciation, it was almost as if he was a fan on the court watching greatness, and he was.

Perhaps the best moment of Green’s interview, is when he talked about the internal debate he had scoring a layup because he knew the fans wanted to see Thompson shoot.

The Warriors have the best record in the NBA and their players have a strong mutual admiration for each other. It’s easy to see why they’re atop the NBA. You can give Steve Kerr the Coach of the Year award now.
