Key and Peele make their Super Bowl picks before their Super Bowl special on Comedy Central

Key and Peele are probably the funniest duo on Comedy Central. The two always have hilarious sketches that invoke laugh out loud laughter from those watching at home.

One of the best things they do is talk football.

They’re probably best known for their East/West College Bowl sketch which makes light of the East/West Shrine game and the ridiculous names of some players.

Now, they’re taking their turn at picking the Super Bowl.

In the sketch, Key plays the role of “Super Bowl champion” Bertram Skilling and Peele plays “eight-time Pro Bowler” Dante Pibb.

Pibb starts out picking the Seahawks because of their defense and predicts the defending champs to repeat. Skilling quickly rebuttles that Seattle won’t repeat and the Patriots will win the Lombardi trophy as Pibb looks on midly annoyed.

The beauty of the sketch is the way they make fun of ex-players who are currently analysts for major networks. Peele gets started in on Patriots having to avoid turnovers and then the entire sketch turns into his character Pibb wanting a turnover to eat.

The two are brash and outlandish and that is what makes the duo so entertaining. Their special on Comedy Central will air on January 30, and will surely be as hilarious as their other football sketches.

Let’s hope they return as Bertram Skilling and Dante Pibb.
