Oakland Raiders safety Charles Woodson said that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of All-Time.

Charles Woodson and Tom Brady were college teammates at the University of Michigan, and they both turned out to be stars in the NFL. There have been quite a few different opinions on where Brady belongs in the all-time quarterback rankings, but Woodson shared his thoughts on the matter.

Many have Brady ranked either second or third behind Joe Montana and sometimes Peyton Manning. That may have changed a bit this year with Brady preparing to play for another Super Bowl title and Manning losing the first game he played in the playoffs once again.

Woodson gave Brady some serious praise ahead of his old teammate’s latest Super Bowl deserving to be titled the greatest of all-time.

“He is the greatest of all time I think if you look at Tom Brady and look at the cast around him, how many receivers can you name…. other than Randy Moss, in the year that they threw for 50 touchdowns…. how many receivers can you name? How many Hall of Famers has he been around can you name.”

Woodson isn’t wrong in his praise. Brady has changed the game and has done so without having a ton of star potential around him. Obviously Randy Moss and Rob Gronkowski break that mold, but for the most part Brady has made more stars than he has received and he’s made the most of what he’s been given.

There will always be those that disagree about how good Brady has been, but there are also a lot of Patriots haters.

Brady has thrown for 53,258 yards, 392 touchdowns, and just 143 interceptions throughout his career in New England. Obviously those numbers show just ho dominant he has been throughout his career. He is also one of the most successful playoff and Super Bowl quarterbacks that the NFL has seen in a long time.

All of that being said, these comments of Woodson are true and very classy. Brady has yet another chance to prove his legacy against the Seahawks on Sunday night, and winning another Super Bowl might very well be what he needs to sway some of his critics.
