The penguins of the Cincinnati Zoo have chosen their fellow birds, the Seahawks, to win Sunday

Everything is coming up Seahawks these days. Onside kicks, fake kicks, championships, and a growing fan base. Now, the Seahawks have a new ally for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX… penguins.

The penguins of the Cincinnati Zoo had a chance to pick the winner of Sunday’s game, and they went with their bird brothers, the Seahawks, to take home their second consecutive Lombardi Trophy.

The penguins had two signs to march under. On one side was a post with a Seahawks sign, and on the other was a post with a Patriots sign. Whatever sign the penguins marched through would be their pick.

Much like the monkeys at zoos around the country who usually pick the jersey of a winner, the penguins decided that Seattle was their team to win this years Super Bowl at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The first penguin almost headed for the Patriots gate, but decided to troll Pats fans and head right back to the Seahawks gate where the rest of the penguins ended up marching in suit.

So the Seahawks have won over once again new fans. They now have the penguins on their side who will surely be sporting the “12th man” flags in their respective habitats.

The popularity of the Seahawks brand is growing, and if they win again Sunday, their popularity will continue to soar even more. Who knows what animal will jump on board with the Seahawks next.
