Patriots are planning a party regardless of the Super Bowl result.

It appears that the New England Patriots are going to be partying the night away with or without the Vince Lombardi trophy. Obviously the night will be a hell of a lot better if they take home the W tonight, but writer Ben Volin has tweeted that they will throw a party regardless of the result.

Not only are they going to drown their sorrows if they lose, Rick Ross will be there to help sing the blues away.

The Patriots are of course favorites going in to Super Bowl XLIX, but it is not expected to be easy for them. If I lost the Super Bowl, I would most likely be reluctant to go party but I would most definitely have my arm twisted by the though of Rick Ross serenading me with such classics as “Ring Ring” and “Paradise Lost”…

The Patriots go in to this game off the back of a huge scandal that I don’t have to fill you in on, because you already know every little detail about it right down to the pound of air pressure.

However, will the scandal have any effect on the team is the question. Maybe, we only have to wait a few hours before we find out. The game should be one to remember, it has everything you need to be a good game. I hope I’m not jinxing all of us.

But seriously, it’s being billed as the best defense vs the best offense, what more could we ask for? Maybe some Gronk antics or perhaps some Marshawn Lynch crotch grabbing? I highly doubt the latter will happen due to the potential 15 yard penalty, but who knows what the running back can do.

Whatever happens in the game is a mystery, one thing seems certain- win or lose, the Patriots are gonna get their drink on tonight while listening to the great Rick Ross.
