Richard Sherman punks Darrelle Revis for allowing Super Bowl TD (Video)
By Phil Watson
Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has never been shy about seeking attention and after a Seahawks’ touchdown in Super Bowl XLIX, he sounded off.
Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks can be accurately described as “polarizing.”
After Doug Baldwin hauled in a touchdown in the third quarter of Super Bowl XLIX, Sherman pointed up at the videoboard while screaming and counting “24.”
Reactions to Sherman’s routine varied greatly.

Those who like Sherman’s routine said he was referencing the fact the Seahawks had 24 points.
Sherman’s detractors said he was taunting Darrelle Revis—No. 24 for the New England Patriots—after he collided with an official and lost track of Baldwin in the end zone.
It depends on when it happened—before or after the extra point.
Since it happened before the extra point, the “24” on the scoreboard had a strange look to it. As in, it was still a “23.”
That would actually be disappointing. In the middle of the Super Bowl is really not the time to play the “who is the best cornerback in the NFL” game.
As best, you appear arrogant. At worst, you appear disconnected from the actual purpose for being in Glendale, Ariz., in the first place—which is to, you know, win that whole big game at the end thing.
