Seahawks fan keeping ‘back-to-back champions’ tattoo (Photo)
We’re in an era of sports fans getting tattoos with predictions for their favorite sports teams that often leads to regrets months later when the team doesn’t live up to the ink on your skin.
Anyone who has had a tattoo in their life or thought about getting one has asked themselves if this is something they are prepared to have for the rest of their life and if they will come to regret it later in life.

One way to avoid getting a regrettable tattoo is by avoiding making bold predictions like one Seattle Seahawks fan did by getting a back-to-back champions tattoo on his arm. Unfortunately for the fan, the Seahawks came up one yard short and four points shy of making his tattoo come true.
That’s gotta sting to look at that tattoo and have the heartache of the crushing last-second loss in Super Bowl 49 when Malcolm Butler intercepted a pass from Russell Wilson on the goal line with the Seahawks needing one yard to win the game.
You couldn’t blame him if he wanted to alter the tattoo or get it removed, no matter how expensive or painful that would be, but kudos to him for deciding to keep the tattoo.
I don’t have any tattoos, but it’s not because I’m against them for any reason, it’s just that I know I would come to regret the decision to get inked at some point or decide I no longer liked what I picked out to get on my skin.
But if I ever convinced myself to get a tattoo I don’t think I’ll be getting a Cubs tattoo with World Series champions on it BEFORE they actually won it. I’m all for a good prediction in the sports world, but something like that would surely come back to haunt me for the rest of my days.
Unlike the Seahawks fan, at least his team had a very good shot at making it a reality despite no team repeating as Super Bowl champions since the Patriots in 2003-2004.
