Craig Sager is back on TV and is looking awesome (Video)
After being diagnosed with leukemia, causing him to miss the entire 2014 NBA playoffs and the first half of the 2015 season, Craig Sager rejoins the TNT crew during All-Star weekend with hopes of returning in early March
Craig Sager’s presence on the sideline has been deeply missed during his ten month hiatus after being diagnosed with leukemia back in April of last year.
During the pregame show for the 2015 NBA All-Star game, Craig Sager made his first appearance since leaving TV and warmed the hearts of viewers everywhere.
No one wants to see something like this happen to anyone, especially someone like Craig Sager.

It wasn’t until he took his break from sideline reporting did the NBA fans miss his warm demeanor and oddly colored suits most.
His classic look of mismatching bright colors has won the hearts of viewers and athletes alike over the years.
His fashion sense was something that everyone took the liberty to comment on during interviews. According to Sager, even one of his most brutal fashion critics expressed his feelings about his absence.
Kevin Garnett was always notorious for his poking fun at Sager, yet he is the person who has been checking in on him most.
Carmelo Anthony also had some very nice welcome back words for Craig as he returned for his first interview since his absence.
"“Let me start off by saying that we miss you… The game hasn’t been the same and the sidelines haven’t been the same without seeing you out there, man. You’re in my family prayers and in my prayers for sure and we hope to see you back out here soon.”"
It doesn’t appear that “the Sages” has lost his sense of humor either. As the TNT crew was commenting on his suit, the camera panned to the lower half of his body revealing a pair of shorts instead of suit pants being worn. Gimmicks such as this are why the NBA misses Craig Sager so much. He has always provided great interviews and a laugh from time to time.
The entire NBA community is more than relieved that his sickness has almost passed and he is on the way to recovery. He hopes to be back in early March, just in time for the 2015 NBA playoffs. The sidelines will never have felt better.
