Chris Kaman goes nuts

Chris Kaman, while not known for his flashy style of play, surprised some fans Sunday night with a ridiculous spin move and reverse lay-up that kissed off the backboard for 2 points.

Now I am not trying to take anything away from Kaman’s game. There has to be role players in order for any team to function. Not everyone can be LeBron James or Steph Curry. So different players, such as Kaman, have to fulfill less attractive spots and specialize in something or another.

Typically, for Kaman, that means rebounding, defense, and putting in the occasional dunk that stems from an entry pass from one of Portland’s guards.

But this doesn’t mean he isn’t willing to show the fans a little something special. Kaman harnessed all the athletic ability he has ever had to finish this one for two.

Good for you Chris. You make big, goofy, white basketball players proud every time you step on the court. But especially tonight as you did your best impersonation of Larry Bird or Magic Johnson with your incredible lay-up. Well done.
