Mike Trout launched an absolute bomb on Sunday that completely cleared the fans that were sitting in left center field

Baseball hasn’t really officially gotten underway until we’ve seen Mike Trout launch a baseball about as far as he possibly can with the force of his bat.

If that truly is the case, then as of Sunday, you can count the baseball season as officially being underway.

Sunday afternoon the Angels were taking on the Royals in Cactus League spring training action, and Trout was up to bat in the bottom of the 5th inning with his team already up 3-2. Well with one swing of that bat, the Angels were able to take a 4-2 lead and boy did Trout ever get a hold of this one.

Watch in the video below as Trout gets a hold of the 1-0 pitch with two outs and sends it well over the folks that were sitting in the left center field grass.

So far, there’s no signs of this kid’s game slipping because he has a fat contract now. No. Trout looks as if he’s ready to resume etching his name in baseball history as one of the more powerful hitters that we’ve ever seen.

This won’t be the last time in 2015 that we see Trout launch a bomb like this.
