The Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars are targeting Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas.

One of Denver Broncos quarterback quarterback Peyton Manning’s favorite targets could be on the move. Tight end Julius Thomas is testing the free agent waters and drawing some interest.

Yahoo’s Charles Robinson is reporting that the Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars are two teams jockeying for Thomas’ services in free agency.

It is an interesting predicament for Thomas. Staying with the Broncos only seems as beneficial as long as Peyton Manning is around, and who knows for how much longer that will be.

Meanwhile, joining the Seahawks who routinely contend for Super Bowl titles as of late is also appealing from a competitive stand point, but might not pay the most.

If it were about money, Thomas could join the Jaguars and likely never compete for anything meaningful again in his career.

That is a lot to weigh, especially when you take into consideration that the success he has had could be contributed in part to having a Hall of Fame quarterback throw him 24 touchdown passes over the past two seasons.

I’ve never had anyone throw tens of millions of dollars at me, but I imagine that’d be pretty hard to turn down. Considering a by-product is living in Florida.
