Real Michael Bolton recreates Office Space scene (video)
By Tony Tran
That no talent ass clown Michael Bolton is done winning Grammy’s, and now he’s moving onto more comedic ventures.
What movie is as quotable and more easily referenced as the cult comedy hit Office Space? You have the red stapler, Milton’s sheepish stutter, and the coolest montage of three dudes beating up an office printer you have ever scene. The film has reached and planted itself firmly into the cultural zeitgeist, even prompting the popular restaurant chain T.G.I. Fridays to do away with their “pieces of flair” (thank God they did).

One of the funniest parts of the Mike Judd directed comedy was Michael Bolton. No, not that Michael Bolton. This one was portrayed by comedian David Herman, and did not necessarily wear his name with pride considering the difficulties it probably brought him growing up.
The folks at Funny or Die decided to use their mysterious connections to the dark forces of Hollywood and invited the actual Michael Bolton to portray the character in the film in some of his funniest scenes. Check out the video below.
Office Space with Michael Bolton from Funny Or Die
Notice that he says “extremely talented ass clown” as opposed to “no talent ass clown.” It’s a rather well-done homage to the original scene, and I was surprised at Bolton’s comedic ability. Clearly a man of many talents.
Check out the original scene below and compare the two. How well do you think they did?
