DeMarco Murray left the Dallas Cowboys for the division rival Philadelphia Eagles and some fans are taking their anger out by burning his Cowboys jersey.

The Dallas Cowboys didn’t offer the type of contract DeMarco Murray believed he was worth after leading the NFL in rushing in 2014 with 1,845 yards, but the Philadelphia Eagles did and he’s signing with the division rival.

Murray also led the NFL in carries with 392 and touchdowns with 13 en route to winning AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year in his contract year, but the Cowboys failed to pay him the going rate for a 27-year-old running back coming off that type of season.

If you are a Cowboys fan and you’re mad about losing Murray, especially to the hated Eagles, you have to direct your anger and frustration at the front office, not Murray.

Nevertheless, as it seems to be the norm when a player leaves and joins another team, the cool thing to do is burn the guy’s jersey, because that’ll really stick it to him and show him what’s up.

One poor soul took to Twitter to post a video of him burning Murray’s Cowboys jersey after he signed a five-year deal worth $42 million with the Eagles.

Nothing will show yourself as a dope quicker than burning your own personal property that cost around $100 to let a player know how you’re mad at him for not accepting the Cowboys lowball offer to appease you.

Meanwhile, Murray got a check for $21 million to sign with the Eagles so I think he’ll sleep easy tonight regardless of how many moronic Cowboys fans are burning his old jersey. He knows there will be a million Eagles fans buying his new one in the coming weeks and months.
