Zlatan Ibrahimovic says Chelsea is a bunch of ‘babies’

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was given a joke of a red card in Paris Saint-Germaine’s win over Chelsea and his response to the whole incident was pure genius.

Paris Saint-Germaine grabbed a huge win the Champions League on Wednesday when they bounced Chelsea in a 2-2 draw that gave the French club an aggregate win.

But the biggest moment of the game — aside from the Thiago Splitter’s equalizer — came in the first half when PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic was given a red card for what was deemed a harsh tackle on Oscar but upon replay appeared to be nothing of the sort.

What sold the red card to the ref, though, was the reaction from the Chelsea players who acted as though Ibra had stomped on Oscar’s face whilst punching his mother in the stomach.

According BBC, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has responded to red card he received by slamming the Chelsea ‘babies’ who played up their reactions to his tackle on Oscar to prompt the red card.

"“When I got the red card all the Chelsea players come around, it felt like I had a lot of babies around me.”“I don’t know if I have to get angry or start to laugh. For me when I saw the red card I was like ‘the guy doesn’t know what he’s doing,'” the PSG forward added.“When I got the red card all the Chelsea players come around, it felt like I had a lot of babies around me.”“I don’t know if I have to get angry or start to laugh. For me when I saw the red card I was like ‘the guy doesn’t know what he’s doing,'” the PSG forward added."

That’s a classic Ibra response and it’s something that highlights how ridiculous both the red card was and how ridiculous the reaction from the Chelsea players was. The officiating in the match was absolutely atrocious but that’s what ended up making it better than it maybe otherwise would have been.

It’s now up to UEFA to take the red card away, but PSG ended up winning the match anyways and eliminating Chelsea, which was the best result fans mad over the red card could have hoped for.
