Wisconsin’s Sam Dekker threw down an alley-oop jam that should have counted as 4 points.

Have you ever seen a 4-point play in basketball? Usually it takes place when a shooter takes a shout out by the 3-point line and gets fouled as the ball goes in. That shooter then adds the free throw to make it a 4-point play.

Wisconsin’s Sam Dekker had his own idea on how a 4-point play should look. He threw down an alley-oop that was so good that it should have counted for 4 points. The ball literally went through the hoop twice!  The ball didn’t bounce off the floor and go back through the hoop. Instead it was thrown down with so much force that the ball was spun right back through because of the net.

Check out this play right here:

I don’t think I have ever seen anything like that! That is freaking amazing. Even the guy on the other team could not understand what happened on the play as he pointed at the hoop and watched the ball go in another time.

Have you ever seen a 4-point play? This is Dekker’s version of how it should work out!

Too bad that this play didn’t even count during the game for 2 points, but Wisconsin was able to walk away with the 72-65 win over Oregon. Dekker led his team with 17 points on the night and added 5 rebounds in the game.
