Referee does the Hustle in the middle of basketball game (video)

This NBA ref was trying to make a travel call, but it looked like he was doing “the hustle” instead.

Sometimes in the middle of an NBA basketball game, the refs get a little bored and feel like getting a little jiggy with it. They could just stop action and break out in a little song and dance.

Here is one of those instances when the ref wanted to get his dancing feet going.

I am pretty sure he was doing The Hustle in the middle of overtime in this game. That is not a travel call. That is a dance move that he has been practicing for some time and he needed to show it off to the rest of the world to see.

I can’t wait till this ref learns the dougie. He can just blow the whistle and break it down in the middle of the game all over again. It was pretty epic.

This ref and ref Joey Crawford should team up together to make their own Broadway musical. We could seem more of Joey doing things like this:

Imagine that combination on the court. Things could get a little weird when a foul or infraction were called, but they would always keep it interesting.
