Of course, there is some wiggle room here, as every MLB organization faces hiccups along the way, but the Cardinals have been a model of consistency and that is the backdrop of the 2015 season. This year’s group bears uncanny resemblance to the 2014 crew that won 90 games and reached the playoffs, and in general, the Cardinals are seen as a favorite to return that type of production again in 2015.

There are stars like Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina, stud role players like Matt Carpenter and Lance Lynn, and even fascinating upside possibilities in Kolten Wong and the newly-acquired Jason Heyward. Simply put, there is nothing lacking in the way of story lines for the 2015 St. Louis Cardinals, and in this space, we will take a look at what to expect from the squad.
