Former Gonzaga star Adam Morrison looks a little different than last time we saw him

With his former team on the brink of the first Final Four in school history, Gonzaga legend Adam Morrison was on the bench to take in the Bulldogs’ Elite Eight tilt against Duke on Sunday,

From Bleacher Report’s Twitter account:

Morrison completed his undergraduate degree at Gonzaga last season and now works as an assistant video coordinator for the team. Although Morrison is a rather high-profile assistant, this appears to be the first time a March Madness broadcast has shown him in person.

It’s very surprising that CBS didn’t bring up Morrison more often during Gonzaga’s Sweet Sixteen victory over UCLA on Friday. Despite a spectacular career with the Bulldogs, the lasting memory of Morrison from college came from the Bruins’ absurd comeback in the 2006 Sweet Sixteen.

One thing that must be noted is how different Morrison looks from his playing days. Gone are the long hair and questionable mustache, replaced by a look that proves Morrison is ready to rise up the nation’s coaching ranks.

Morrison has the last laugh no matter where his coaching career takes him, as he won two rings with the Los Angeles Lakers during his otherwise forgettable NBA career. Darren Collison and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute are still searching for their first title.
