Things go from bad to worse for Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams.

Deron Williams would like to forget Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first round between the Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks, as he missed an open jumper to tie the game late. Things didn’t get much better for Williams in Game 3 on Saturday.

Williams took an awkward looking fall, which left him getting up slowly and gingerly.

Given the fact that Williams has been severely slowed by injuries the past couple of seasons, including a broken rib in January, this can’t be good for him. Williams turned in the worst season of his career in 2014-15 and has been terrible down the stretch and early in the postseason, meaning he could be benched soon.

Shortly after Williams’ fall, the Nets went on a big run with him on the bench. Brooklyn beat Atlanta 91-83 to cut the Hawks’ lead to 2-1 in the series while getting just three points on 1-8 shooting from Williams.

As many have ruthlessly pointed out on Twitter, the fall channeled the state of Williams’ career at this point.
