Washington Wizards fans predictably let Drake have it before Game 3.

Everyone knew this was coming.

As the first round series between the Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors shifted to the nation’s capital, D.C. fans took it upon themselves to call out Toronto’s most famous fan. Drake was booed early and often during Game 3 on Friday night.

Drake, originally from Toronto, is a lifelong Raptors, Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, Kentucky, Heat, Manchester United, Manchester City, Indians and Johnny Manziel fan. He is regarded as a “global ambassador” for the Raptors and released a song called “6 Man” which helped Lou Williams win the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award over Isaiah Thomas.

At least Drake has the mental fortitude to withstand to booing. The Raptors are just about finished after dropping the first three games of the series, all while being mercilessly taunted by Paul Pierce.

Toronto fans tried booing and rattling Pierce, which only made him angrier. As Pierce said before the series, the Raptors don’t appear to have “it.”

The good news for Drake is that Sunday’s Game 4 looks like it will be the last game in D.C. of the series.
