With Kevin Love presumably suffering from a dislocated shoulder on Sunday, how long will it be before he returns to the court for the Cavaliers?

Sunday afternoon during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference NBA Playoff series between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics, disaster struck the Cavs in the form of star Kevin Love suffering a shoulder injury late in the first quarter when he got tied up with Kelly Olynyk. From the looks of it, it appeared that Love suffered a dislocated shoulder.

The only update that was given from ABC was that it was a left shoulder injury, and no prognosis was officially given.

Still, a lot of fans, especially Cavaliers fans, will be wondering how long Love would be out if it is indeed a dislocated shoulder that was suffered.

So how long does it generally take to come back from a dislocated shoulder?

Well, the general recovery time for a separated shoulder is about 6 weeks, meaning that Love, with his fit condition, could be back on the court in a month if all goes well.

So, should the Cavaliers make the NBA Finals, there is a good chance that Kevin Love could be available for the help.
