The Padres broadcast keys to the game were a little mundane to say the least.

If you score more runs in baseball then the other team, you’re going to win. No really, the Padres say so.

See how obvious and insulting to your intelligence that is?

Well the San Diego Padres showed no remorse for the fans watching at home’s IQ as they displayed some very egregious and obvious keys to the game.

With the Padres taking on the Rockies in the series finale Sunday, the broadcast booth displayed some keys to the game that provided zero analysis.

In fact, zero might be giving them too much credit for this one.

The keys to the game were score more runs than the Rockies and that the Padres are 12-0 when they outscore their opponents.

There is absolutely no way they could have been serious with this one. Rather than talking about how to attack the Colorado pitching staff and how to get ahead in counts, or how to keep the Colorado batters from reaching base and discussing the pitchers pitching repertoire, they went with score more runs than the Rockies.

Good news for the Padres is that they did score more than the Rockies, and since the broadcast doesn’t think you can figure it out, they also won.

Congrats San Diego, you are now Captain Obvious.
