Timofey Mozgov rap song is the best the best hype video ever (Video)

Timofey Mozgov is going to be a big part of the Cavaliers title run this year, and a Cleveland comedian’s music video sums up the hype.

There are hype videos before an NBA Playoff game, and then there’s this masterpiece by Cleveland comedian Mike Polk Jr., which is probably the best hype video you could have asked for.

Polk threw together a music video that acts as an ode to Cleveland big man Timofey Mozgov, and it’s as hilarious as it is awesome.

Among the topics and easter eggs involved are Mozgov’s style of play, his Russian heritage and his affinity for wearing his jersey backwards in commercials. Just check out the music video and try not to get even more hyped for the Bulls-Cavaliers series than you already were.

Mozgov has become a local legend in Cleveland and he hasn’t even spent an entire season in town. But he’s starred in commercials for local restaurants, interacted with fans before, during and after games and has established a notoriety in Cleveland that gives fans someone to latch onto.

We all have players on out favorite teams that we can’t help but love and they make a postseason ride like this so much more fun than they usually are. Mozgov is that guy for the Cavaliers as he’s not the star of the team, but he’s someone that fans identify with.

It’s also better than this hype video, which was as lame as it was loud.

Someone should make this change quickly, as there’s not doubting the power of Timofey Mozgov.
