Where is the best fit for star free agent forward LaMarcus Aldridge this summer?

LaMarcus Aldridge is set to become a free agent this summer. The 29-year-old forward will be a hot commodity along with other big free agents like Kevin Love, Marc Gasol, Rajon Rondo, DeAndre Jordan, Greg Monroe, and Goran Dragic. The Portland Trail Blazer forward is a 4-time All-Star, 2-time All-NBA Third-Team performer, was the only NBA player to average 23 points and 10 rebounds this season and last season, and is easily one of the 10 to 15 best players in the league right now.

Aldridge as we speak, is a star — not a superstar – and has only won one playoff series as the team’s best or second-best player (Damian Lillard is looked at by some as the No. 1 option) in his nine-year career. The dude is one of the three best power forwards in the league and has improved his game steadily over the last couple of seasons. Aldridge is in the midst of his prime and has plenty more years of playing high level basketball.

Aldridge will have plenty of suitors this offseason and I’m here to list his five best team options and rank them accordingly to which squads suit him the best and where he would fit most comfortably heading into the 2015 NBA free agent frenzy.
