DeflateGate rages on following the four-game ban handed to Tom Brady, something that has inspired an infuriatingly catchy song from a former American Idol contestant.

The world is still coming to terms with the four-game ban given to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in addition to the $1,000,000 fine and loss of draft picks levied against the team for using under-inflated balls last season.

Most people in the football world feel that the decision to suspend Brady was correct, but there are a few people who disagree, with some using unusual methods to get their point across. One such person is former American Idol contestant Ayla Brown. Brown decided to sing a song entitled #FreeTomBrady.

The lyrics are as meaningful as they are poetic, and if the opening line doesn’t get the ban reduced I’m not sure what will…

"“I don’t care if your ball’s deflatedI just want to see my man playin’Goodell my friend, give him a breakIt was just an honest mistake”"

Brown featured on American Idol back in 2006, only to come back and butcher our ears 9 years later. Before watching the video bare in mind that this song will be stuck in your head until your commute home this evening.

The debate about Tom Brady’s involvement in the Deflategate scandal will rumble on for quite some time, but hopefully some better songs will be released before it finally goes away.
