Stephen Curry returned to Game Four and airballed his first shot.

Stephen Curry made Warriors fans and basketball fans alike take a collective gasp when he went down in the second quarter after taking a nasty fall and banging his head on the floor.

However, Curry underwent the necessary concussion protocols and was ruled to merely have a head contusion and cleared to play. Subsequently, Curry returned to the game in the third quarter as the Warriors seemed to be mounting a comeback.

However, Curry didn’t do much to help the comeback as his first shot, a step-back long two, missed everything and went out of bounds:

People are obviously going to overreact and say that this is a sign that he’s not okay and that he might actually have a concussion. That’s likely hyperbole as you have to trust the doctors’ word, but he’s certainly out of rhythm after not being on the floor for a full quarter of action.

This injury is something to keep an eye on for the rest of game four and for the remainder of the postseason. As for now, it’s good to see that Curry is healthy enough to be back on the floor. Now he just needs to get his legs under him and find his silky shot once again.
