If a trade had to happen right now, Philadelphia Phillies ace Cole Hamels would be moved to the Texas Rangers.

The MLB Trade Deadline is getting closer and teams are trying to work out deals for last minute additions to their teams. One of the hottest names on the market is Philadelphia Phillies ace Cole Hamels, who drove up the price with his recent no-hitter.

The Phillies reportedly want to move Hamels by Wednesday, and they have more than a few teams interested.

As of late, the Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Dodgers were named as the front-runners for Hamels.

Sandler isn’t the only one predicting that either. Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com “strongly believes” that the Hamels will be traded to the Rangers.

The San Francisco Giants were considered a potential landing spot at one point in time, but are fading out of the race clearing the way for the Rangers to land Hamels.
