Boston Celtics 2015-16 NBA Schedule

The NBA season is almost back, and we now know the schedules and who the Boston Celtics will be playing this upcoming year.

After an offseason of waiting for basketball to return, we are finally one step closer to having the NBA back in our lives. There’s nothing wrong with the summer sports, but there are few joys we get out of life as great as the start of a fresh NBA season.

For the Boston Celtics, this season is going to hopefully be a step above what they were able to accomplish last season. Brad Stevens crew was looking dead in the water about halfway through the year, but something miraculous happened — they turned things around.

After surging in the second half of the season, the Celtics managed to make the Eastern Conference Playoffs as the No. 7 seed and secured a matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers. That obviously wasn’t going to end well, but it was the type of productive series sweep — if there is such a thing — that gives fans hope that things will continue to grow this upcoming year into something more special.

Just like the surge they experienced in the second half of last season, the Celtics lay dormant for most of free agency but came up from the dark depths the make some impressive moves that make the team even better than it was last season. From trading for David Lee and Zoran Dragic to signing Amir Johnson, the Celtics have quietly become a force to be reckoned with in the Easter Conference and they’re heading into this season with a hunger to prove it.
