New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft praised Tom Brady’s character after his suspension was overturned by a court.

The New England Patriots and their fans are celebrating the news that Tom Brady’s four-game suspension was overturned, clearing him to start the season under center.

It should come as no surprise that Patriots owner Robert Kraft is pleased as well, having stood by Brady throughout the process. Kraft released a statement on the decision, and took it the opportunity to heap even more praise towards Brady.

“As I have said during this process and throughout his Patriots career, Tom Brady is a classy person of the highest integrity,” Kraft said in a statement released on the team’s website.

“He represents everything that is great about this game and this league. Yet, with absolutely no evidence of any actions of wrongdoing by Tom in the Wells report, the lawyers at the league still insisted on imposing and defending unwarranted and unprecedented discipline. Judge Richard Berman understood this and we are greatly appreciative of his thoughtful decision that was delivered today. Now, we can return our focus to the game on the field.”

Can you really fault any owner for praising a quarterback that has won them four Super Bowls and taken them to six?
