Orioles catcher Caleb Joseph struck out against the Yankees on Monday night and he took the anger out on the bat

If you’ve paid any attention to the Major League Baseball campaign this year, you know that the Baltimore Orioles have had a pretty rough go of things. Heading into Monday’s game against the AL East rival New York Yankees, there was a chance they would drop their 15th game out of their last 18.

Well, they did drop that 15th game, 8-6, and things were just not working out in their favor. At one point in the game, they especially didn’t work out in the favor of catcher Caleb Joseph, who took some anger out on his bat.

Joseph was up with the bases loaded and he had a pretty good chance to end the team’s woes right then and there. All it would take is one hit and everything could be fixed. Instead, however, he struck out at the plate and afterwards, the bat in his hands paid the price.

This visual right here folks, in case you haven’t been paying attention, is pretty much how the Orioles’ season has gone in 2015.
