The Dallas Cowboys lost Tony Romo in Week 2, and Skip Bayless wants someone prosecuted and/or crucified.

When the Dallas Cowboys lost Tony Romo to a broken clavicle on Sunday, you knew the hot takes were going to come in piping hot the next day. Look no further than the crew at First Take for your fixing of Tony Romo overreactions — and Skip Bayless had perhaps the best hot take on the situation that we could have hoped for.

Bayless — as straight faced as he always is when he says insane things on First Take — tried to make the argument that the hit on Tony Romo was a dirty one.

This is such a First Take argument that it would have been a shame if it didn’t happen. This sparked an argument with Stephen A. Smith that insinuated that there’s trouble in paradise, as Smith went off about how Bayless was being a homer and needed to be harder on Romo.

You know, like how Stephen A. is a Knicks fan so much that he hates the team with an undying passion.

This is why we love First Take, as it’s the McDonald’s of sports television and we can never get enough to stuff into our intellectual arteries.
